A: There are two options to use your $5 Hy-Vee® gift card:
- Print the email with gift card barcode or present it at checkout on your mobile device at any Hy-Vee®. If the digital gift card barcode is not scannable, please ask the cashier to enter the digital code using the 'manual entry' function on the register. If using for a hy-vee.com online purchase, please type in the 19 digit code at checkout.
- If you have a Hy-Vee PERKS® account, please follow these steps:
- Go to hy-vee.com
- Log in to your account
- Go to my profile
- Click on payment methods
- Select “add a gift card”
- Upload the $5 gift card directly to your perks account using the gift card number and security code

A: To ensure a successful upload, follow these important tips. 1) Make sure your Hy-Vee® receipt includes participating Pepsi®, Gatorade® or Frito-Lay® products. 2) Keep your Hy-Vee® receipt flat, straight and in focus with no other writing near it. 3) Receipt should be an image file (.jpg, .png, etc.) and less than 5 MB. 4) Make sure all of the following are visible on your Hy-Vee® receipt: Hy-Vee® store name, purchase date, product name and product price.
